To camp around Sangama we were told to get permission from the forest officer in Kanakapura, on reaching Kanakapura we were told that we had to get permission from the forest officer back in Bangalore. So we got our own permissions...our way:)

Sangama is an ideal place for camping with picturesque hills and rivers confluencing. Its about 90kms from Bangalore.
Chunchi falls is nothing in particular, but worth seeing if you are going to Sangam or Mekedatu.
